About Rare Books and Manuscripts Collection
The Rare Books and Manuscripts Collection in Special Collections are comprised of a wide range of printed material that are considered valuable and provide information not found in other works. The books require special protection and are restricted in their use due to their extreme fragility and uniqueness. Rare Books include works of literature, state and U.S. history and early childhood education.
The Rare Book collection includes two early histories of Oswego Normal School. First Quarter Century 1887 State Normal and Training School, Oswego, N.Y. and History of the First Half Century of the Osxwego State Normal and Training School, Oswego, N.Y.
