Notes
- Summary:
- Oswego Normal School 1916 graduating class photograph with caption, "Oswego, July 8. - The graduating class of the Oswego Normal School, which received diplomas last week, while perhaps not establishing a record for numbers, deserves special mention. It is one of the first classes to receive its entire training in the new building and has borne a reputation for initiative and progressiveness during its stay in the institution. It represents many sections of the country, having members from all over the east and the middle west, and practically every locality in Central and Northern New York. The 100 odd members in September will be scattered in assuming their life work as teachers. It has been stated at the school that practically every member of the class has signed up contracts at good salaries for the coming school year and those who have not signed as yet, have refused offers and are considering others in more desirable locations. Indications also point now toward a large entrance class at the local school in September."
