Black & white photograph of Oswego River. Written on back of photo, "View of shipping in Oswego harbor about 1870 looking north toward lake with W. Bridge St. in foreground. Grain elevators at left. Bridge was equipped with turn stile to permit masts of sailing boats in river. Oswego Canal at right with typical canal boats anchored in river. Stone pier at left still existent, but (its) land beyond bridge has been removed." Photocopy is folded behind photograph. ( eng )
