Summary:

The Student Government Association was replaced by the General Organization in September, 1923, as a more democratic form of self-government. General Organization President Ralph Filburn wrote in "The Normalian", 1924, "We still have our clubs, classes and societies with each president acting as representative in the Cabinet of the President of the General Organization. In the same Cabinet the Faculty is represented by a Faculty Board consisting of three of its members". As a result, the needs students and faculty were given a voice. ( eng )
