About Drawings from Children of Darfur
The drawings in this exhibit are from children 8-11 years old in Darfur area of the Sudan. In 2004 Dr. Jerry Ehrlich worked with Doctors Without Borders caring for children in refugee camps. He brought with him drawing paper and crayons and asked them to draw “what they thought their life was like in Darfur”. Dr. Ehrlich brought back over 100 drawings. These pictures are prints of the original drawings, which have been on tour throughout North America.
