Notes

Abstract:
Epigenetics can change over time due to many factors such as lifestyle and environment. The presence and quantification of methylation, a type of epigenetics, in relation to gender and survival can show the differences between outcomes based on these factors. This allows synthesis of connections between factors yielding wisdom about cancer progression. Using conventional and machine learning techniques within Python and R, analysis of epigenetics in relation to gender, survival can provide insight into better screening and understanding of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
